Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has introduced a hassle-free method for residents to transfer vehicle plate ownership without the need to visit RTA centers.

Seamless Process via UAE Pass:

This initiative simplifies buying and selling number plates by enabling users to complete the transfer process through the UAE Pass, allowing for a quick and efficient transaction.

Key Steps in the Transfer Process:

To facilitate a smooth transfer, both the buyer and seller must:

• Agree on the sales price and payment method in advance.
• The seller must gather the buyer’s details, including UAE Pass, telephone number, or traffic file.
• Utilize the UAE Pass to sign a sales purchase agreement (SPA), registering the selling and buying process.
• Ensure the payment for the service is completed.
