Dubai Crown Prince Approves New Development Projects in Hatta

Transforming Hatta into a Dynamic Hub for Business, Investment, and Tourism

Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Executive Council, has recently announced a series of ambitious development projects for the Hatta region. This initiative is part of a broader strategy to enhance the living standards in Hatta and transform it into a vibrant destination for business, investment, and tourism, both locally and globally.

Comprehensive Development Plans Underway

The comprehensive development plans for Hatta reflect the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai. The aim is to ensure the highest standards of living for the citizens and their families. Sheikh Hamdan emphasized the significance of continuously improving Dubai’s development model to deliver efficient services to its citizens and residents.

During his visit to Hatta, Sheikh Hamdan approved several projects, including the construction of a private school and a new neighborhoods council for the region’s residents. The Hatta Beach project, another significant initiative, has also been finalized in terms of design and location.

The Crown Prince highlighted the importance of understanding and meeting the aspirations and needs of the people of Dubai. He praised the collaborative efforts of the Supreme Committee to Oversee the Development of Hatta and other entities involved in these development plans.

Mattar Al Tayer, Dubai’s Commissioner General for the Infrastructure, Urban Planning, and Wellbeing Pillar, reiterated the commitment to involve the people of Hatta in these development initiatives. The projects aim to offer them opportunities to launch their own ventures, leveraging the region’s rich heritage and natural attractions.

Key Projects and Innovations

Sheikh Hamdan was briefed on several key projects, including:

• A private school with state-of-the-art facilities, capable of enrolling 700 to 1,000 students.
• A new neighborhoods council acting as a forum for local community interaction.
• The Hatta Beach project, covering over 53,000 square meters, featuring a 10,000 square meters beach alongside an artificial lake and various amenities for visitors.
• Development of hotels, resorts, and 235 houses in the Makan area, as well as the enhancement of Hatta downtown.
