Covid-19 Update India: 412 New Cases, Active Cases Rise to 4,170

India reported 412 new cases of Covid-19, bringing the total number of active cases to 4,170, as disclosed by the health ministry on Tuesday.

The death toll from the viral disease reached 5,33,337, with three new fatalities reported in Karnataka within the last 24 hours, according to the updated data from the ministry as of 8 am.

Total Covid Cases and Recovery Rate:

India’s overall Covid case tally now stands at 4,50,09,660. The number of individuals who have recovered from the disease has risen to 4,44,72,153, reflecting a national recovery rate of 98.81%, per the ministry’s website.

The case fatality rate for COVID-19 in India stands at 1.19%, indicating the proportion of confirmed cases that result in death.

Vaccination Efforts:

The health ministry’s website reports that 220.67 crore doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered in the country, highlighting the ongoing vaccination measures to curb the spread of the virus.
