Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority Activates New Rescue and Firefighting Points

By activating 37 additional rescue and firefighting points, ADCDA has taken a big step towards strengthening emergency response capabilities.

The Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority (ADCDA) has taken a significant step towards bolstering emergency response capabilities by activating 37 new rescue and firefighting points across the emirate of Abu Dhabi. 

This strategic initiative aims to reduce emergency response times and elevate readiness levels in the face of potential crises and accidents.

Comprehensive Plan for Community Safety:

Brigadier Salem Abdullah bin Barrak Al Dhaheri, Acting Director General of ADCDA, highlighted that this activation is part of a broader plan to fortify the emirate’s emergency system. 

The plan includes training human resources, developing specialized programs, and implementing operations to underscore the authority’s commitment to securing the safety of lives and properties throughout the emirate.

Strategic Distribution Across Regions:

The newly activated rescue and firefighting points are strategically distributed, with 16 locations in Abu Dhabi, 14 in Al Ain, and 7 in the Al Dhafra Region. 

This geographical distribution aims to provide comprehensive coverage and quick response capabilities across the emirate.

Technological Advancements for Efficient Response:

Colonel Salem Khalifa Al Mansouri, Director of the External Regions Rescue and Fire Department and Project Manager of Barq Patrol Points, emphasized that these strategic points are equipped with advanced technologies and state-of-the-art equipment. 

This ensures that the highest efficiency standards are maintained in responding to emergencies, reflecting the ADCDA’s commitment to cutting-edge solutions.
