Residents may expect a fair to partly overcast day, according to the National Centre of Meteorology's prediction.

According to the National Center of Meteorology’s forecast, residents can expect a fair to partly cloudy day.

However, there’s a possibility of convective cloud formation in eastern and northern areas later in the afternoon.

DUE TO FOG, the NCM has issued red and yellow alerts for parts of the country. Heavy fog is expected in regions highlighted in red, leading to visibility of less than 1,000 meters. Morning fog is anticipated in areas of Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Ras Al Khaimah, and Um Al Quwain.

The NCM has posted fog forecasts on social media platforms, including X (formerly Twitter), indicating that fog will persist until 9:30 a.m.

Warning from Abu Dhabi Police:

Abu Dhabi Police have warned motorists about low visibility due to the fog. Drivers are urged to exercise caution and follow changing speed limits displayed on electronic information boards. The speed limitation on the Abu Dhabi-Al Ain road has been temporarily reduced to 80km/h.

Temperatures are expected to decrease today, with increased night and Monday morning humidity. The weather will be pleasant for those looking to spend time outdoors, with light to moderate winds, occasionally freshening, and the bonus of cloud cover.

Temperature Range:

The day’s temperature range is expected to be between 21ºC as the low and 40ºC as the high in internal parts of the country.

This weather update provides valuable information to help residents plan their day and stay safe while driving in foggy conditions.
