Record-Breaking Agreement

The Premier League has recently finalized a groundbreaking media rights deal, marking it as the most extensive sports media agreement ever inked in the UK. This four-year deal, set to commence from the 2025-26 season, encompasses various broadcasting packages.

Expanded Viewing Opportunities

Sky, a key recipient, secured four out of five packages, ensuring a minimum of 215 matches each season. These will include an array of match schedules, such as Saturday 5.30pm, Sunday 2pm and 4.30pm kick-offs, along with Monday and Friday evening games, and three midweek rounds.

BBC’s Continuation & Digital Advancements

BBC clinched a deal to continue airing Match of the Day, along with MOTD2 and Football Focus, maintaining its strong lineup. Additionally, the agreement extends to digital rights, empowering BBC to enhance its online platforms with comprehensive coverage.

TNT’s Broadcasting Inclusion

TNT also secures a share, guaranteeing a minimum of 52 matches annually. Their programming will encompass all 12.30pm Saturday kick-offs and two midweek match rounds, providing diverse viewing options for Premier League fans.

Preserving Match Schedules
