UAE to Host Palestinian Children for Medical Treatment Amid Gaza Crisis

The UAE has announced the provision of medical care for 1,000 Palestinian children from the war-torn Gaza Strip.

In a significant humanitarian gesture, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has announced the allocation of medical treatment for a thousand Palestinian children from the war-stricken Gaza Strip. 

This initiative, directed by President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, underscores the UAE’s unwavering commitment to global assistance and support for distressed people.

Collaboration with the International Committee of the Red Cross:

The decision was disclosed following a crucial telephone conversation between Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Mirjana Spoljaric, President of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC). 

During their discussion, they emphasized the significance of facilitating safe, unimpeded, and continuous delivery of relief and medical aid to the civilians in Gaza, emphasizing the urgent need to intensify regional and international efforts to bolster the humanitarian response.

Addressing the Humanitarian Crisis in Gaza:

This initiative emerges as an extension of the UAE’s persistent efforts to provide relief to the Palestinian people, especially children, who are grappling with dire humanitarian conditions in Gaza. 

By opening its doors and offering medical treatment, the UAE aims to alleviate the suffering of those affected by the crisis, reflecting the nation’s deep-rooted compassion and solidarity with the global community.
