UAE Strongly Condemns Terrorist Attack in Turkish Capital Ankara

The UAE has strongly condemned the recent terrorist attack that occurred in the Turkish capital, Ankara, resulting in injuries to several security personnel.
UAE’s Stance Against Terrorism:
In a statement, the UAE’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) reaffirmed the nation’s condemnation of these criminal acts and its unwavering rejection of all forms of violence and terrorism.
The UAE is committed to upholding security and stability per human values and principles.
Solidarity with Turkey:
The Ministry expressed the UAE’s solidarity with the government of Turkey and its people. Additionally, the UAE extended its wishes for a swift recovery for those injured in the attack.
Attack Details:
The attack took place just hours before the Turkish Parliament was scheduled to reopen after a three-month summer recess, with an address by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
Two police officers were slightly wounded during the attack near the Ministry of Interior Affairs entrance. The assailants arrived at the scene in a light commercial vehicle.
This condemnation underscores the UAE’s commitment to combat terrorism and support international efforts to maintain peace and security.
