UAE Motorists Warned of Fog, Red Alert Issued for less Visibility

Motorists in the UAE were warned about fog formation in several areas on Monday morning. The National Centre of Meteorology has issued a red alert, indicating that visibility may be reduced to less than 1,000 meters.
Authorities have called on drivers to exercise caution and adhere to changing speed limits displayed on electronic information boards.

The weather in the UAE on October 9 is expected to be fair to partly cloudy at times, with clouds appearing eastward by the afternoon.
Temperatures will gradually decrease, with humidity increasing at night and into Tuesday morning. There is a chance of fog or mist formation in some coastal and internal areas.
Wind conditions will be light to moderate, and the sea is expected to be slightly in the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.
The temperature is forecasted to reach as high as 43ºC in the country. Specifically, temperatures are expected to reach 40ºC in Abu Dhabi and 39ºC in Dubai.

On Sunday, the highest temperature recorded in the country was 45.5°C in Sweihan (Al Ain) at 15:00 UAE Local time.
Motorists and residents are advised to stay informed about weather conditions and exercise caution, especially during foggy conditions, to ensure road safety and reduce the risk of accidents.
