UAE Launches ‘Compassion for Gaza’ Humanitarian Campaign

In a compassionate gesture, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has initiated the ‘Compassion for Gaza’ humanitarian campaign to provide much-needed relief to the Palestinians who find themselves amid the ongoing conflict in the Gaza Strip.

Bringing Communities Together:

The ‘Compassion for Gaza’ campaign aims to establish centers for collecting and mobilizing aid packages.

It will involve charitable institutions, volunteer centers, the private sector, various community groups across the UAE, and the media.

The goal is to unite efforts and resources to extend a helping hand to those affected by the conflict.

Solidarity with Palestinian Children and Families:

This campaign also serves as a powerful symbol of solidarity with Palestinian children and families in Gaza enduring war’s hardships.

The UAE seeks to alleviate the suffering of the most vulnerable groups, especially the more than one million children, representing nearly half of the Gaza Strip’s population.

Addressing Basic Needs and Health Supplies:

Through the ‘Compassion for Gaza’ campaign, the UAE pledges to provide necessities, health supplies, and general hygiene materials to those affected by the conflict, with a special focus on children and their mothers.

Launch Details:

The campaign’s official launch is set for the coming Sunday in Abu Dhabi, under the supervision of the Emirates Red Crescent Authority.

The campaign event will be held at the Abu Dhabi Ports Hall in Mina Zayed from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Additionally, mobilization and collection points will be established in other Emirates to ensure wider participation.

International Collaboration for Humanitarian Efforts:

This campaign is a collaborative effort with the World Food Programme and is coordinated with the UAE’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Community Development.

It forms a part of the broader humanitarian initiatives undertaken by the UAE to provide urgent assistance to the Palestinian people, emphasizing the nation’s commitment to helping those in crisis.
