The 6th International Conference on Disability and Rehabilitation and the King Salman Disability Research Award may be staged in January 2022. A press conference has been told. The conference, prepared through the King Salman Center for Disability Research (KSCDR) in Riyadh on Monday, noticed 26 nations and ten nearby entities and personal sector bodies. The centre gets King Salman’s care and interest, stated Prince Sultan bin Salman, chairman of the board of trustees. “As the king of Saudi Arabia, he is likewise the founding father of the centre over 30 years ago. He introduced nominations for the 0.33 consultation of the King Salman International Award for Disability Research. “We desire that the scientific committee will get hold of many posts that rise to the extent of this global award.” Dr Ola Abu Sukar, chairman of the scientific committee of the 6th convention, stated that KSCDR slogan is “Science benefiting people,” which is also the message of its founder King Salman. “From that slogan, hopes had been achieved, and in popularity of these excessive values, this conference turned into organized and prepared to finish the preceding five global conferences, which ended in pointers that had been accepted through King Salman,” she said. Abu Sukar stated that the sixth convention’s slogan turned into “empowering people with disabilities from early life to youth — among studies and application.” She stated that the convention might be a remarkable experience in Saudi Arabia, setting up a participatory design program with the subject of “shifting from disability to empowerment,” for three consecutive days previous to the conference. “Our motto on this participatory software is that we can’t create something without them (people with disability). It is a software that consists of people with disabilities in the field of innovation,” she stated.
