Sheikh Mohammed Unveils Formation of Two New Dubai Councils

In a compassionate move ahead of the UAE National Day, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and PM of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai, has granted clemency to 1,249 inmates from various nationalities in correctional and penal institutions in Dubai.

This pardon, announced on the occasion of the 52nd Union Day, signifies a fresh start for those individuals, representing a gesture of compassion and forgiveness as the nation celebrates a significant milestone.

The pardon follows similar announcements by rulers in four other emirates, collectively reflecting a commitment to fostering an atmosphere of compassion and unity during the National Day celebrations.
