Sharjah Book Authority Empowers Students at the International Book Fair

Under the guidance of Sheikha Bodour bint Sultan Al Qasimi, Chairperson of the Sharjah Book Authority (SBA), a thoughtful initiative has been launched during the 42nd Sharjah International Book Fair (SIBF). 

School students attending the fair are set to receive vouchers generously provided by the authority, allowing them to enrich their libraries with the latest releases from participating publishers.

A Literary Wonderland for Students:

With the fair continuing until November 12th, students can explore a vast selection of over 1.5 million titles presented by 2,033 Arab and foreign publishers. 

This initiative encourages a love for reading and supports the SBA’s mission to provide easy access to knowledge and learning resources for younger generations.

Aligned with the emirate’s vision of establishing a knowledge-based society, the voucher distribution exemplifies the SBA’s commitment to fostering a culture of reading and learning. 

By empowering students to choose their favorite titles, the authority seeks to make a lasting impact on their educational journey.

Diverse Offerings at the 42nd Edition:

The 42nd Edition of the Sharjah International Book Fair is not just a book exhibition but a cultural extravaganza. 

The fair is a hub of cultural, entertainment, and educational activities, featuring over 1700 events led by 215 guests from 69 countries across six interactive spaces. 

With hundreds of thousands of students participating, this event brings together creators, artists, and inspirational figures from various knowledge and creative fields, fostering a holistic approach to learning and enrichment.
