Inauguration by His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi:

Located a mere kilometer from Shees Park, which boasts an artificial waterfall, the rest area was inaugurated by His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah. 

The picturesque surroundings and cool mountain air provided a perfect setting for the occasion.

The Shees Rest Area boasts 58 shops offering various products and services. Visitors can peruse and purchase fresh fruits, vegetables, domestic plants, carpets with intricate designs, perfumes, and camping gear.

The plant shops offer the famous Dh1 potted flowers, attracting customers who leave with boxes filled with vibrant greens to brighten their spaces.

Shoppers can acquire boxes of mangoes, oranges, papayas, guavas, apples, and watermelons, all for just Dh90.
