Residents of the Kingdom are enjoying an extraordinary snowy escape this Saudi Winter Season. One of the season’s locations is Jabal Al-Lawz, Almond Mountain, which takes its name from the big range of almond trees growing on its ends. Located in the northwest of the Kingdom and increasing to more than 2,600 meters above sea level, Jabal Al-Lawz is covered in snow each winter. The Saudi Tourism Authority (STA) has selected the location as one of its 17 locations. The snowfall at the granite terrain of Jabal Al-Lawz makes the mountain an ideal winter destination, particularly for adventure lovers. For people who haven’t experienced snow before, this winter season is a wonderful opportunity to head up north.
The mountain gives amusing sports, which includes skiing, snowboarding. The regions also are wonderful for tenting at the snow-covered soft sands. The gentle snow-included tracks and the starlit sky is nature’s way of inviting citizens of Tabuk and visitors from throughout the Kingdom to enjoy the magic of the Saudi winter season. The Saudi Tourism Authority (STA) has provided an extensive variety of touristic activities in the Saudi Winter Season, for citizens, citizens and traffic of GCC countries, to create unlimited memories and unforgettable family experiences. During the season, which will go on until the end of March, visitors will be capable of picking out more than 300 experiences and programs by more than 200 tour operators and tourism companies, to find out the Kingdom’s geographical and weather diversity.
