Ras Al Khaimah Introduces Smart System for Managing Impounded Vehicles

Ras Al Khaimah Police has announced a new smart system for managing procedures related to abandoned and impounded cars in the emirate.
This initiative is in partnership with Emirates Parking, a parking solutions provider.
Emirates Parkings Takes the Lead:
Emirates Parkings will operate the Ras Al Khaimah vehicle impoundment yard as part of its collaboration with the Ras Al Khaimah Police General Headquarters and General Resources Authority.
Emirates Parkings has developed a specialized system to streamline impoundment procedures for government entities and customers.
The system incorporates smart technologies within the yards and employs AI-powered data collection for various purposes. This data will enhance service efficiency, logistics, and customer experience.
Comprehensive Security Measures:
The integrated security system includes surveillance cameras, bolstering the security of the impoundment yard.
Additionally, insurance services are provided for impounded vehicles to safeguard them against fire and theft incidents.
Maj-Gen Ali Abdullah bin Alwan Al Nuaimi, Commander-in-Chief of Ras Al Khaimah Police, highlighted that this collaboration is dedicated to managing and improving the transport of abandoned or violating vehicles in the emirate.
It serves the community’s interests and enhances Ras Al Khaimah’s image.
Fostering Economic Growth:
Maysoon Mohammed Al Dhahab emphasized that this agreement aligns with the authority’s goals of supporting the private sector in Ras Al Khaimah and playing a pivotal role in driving economic growth in the emirate.
The partnership underscores the commitment to a robust and efficient system for managing impounded vehicles in Ras Al Khaimah.
