Penguin Paradise: six unique penguin species at SeaWorld Abu Dhabi

The air temperature is kept at an incredible 1℃, and the water at a crisp 7℃ to deliver a flawless climate for the aquatic creatures.
SeaWorld Abu Dhabi, located on Yas Island, is set to enchant visitors with a captivating display of penguins.
In the heart of Antarctica, one of the eight incredible realms at the region’s premier marine life theme park, penguins take center stage. Here’s a glimpse into the extraordinary world of these charming birds, each with its own distinct characteristics.
King Penguin
The King Penguin, the second-largest penguin species, shares a resemblance with the majestic Emperor penguin. Renowned as epic hunters, King penguins are capable of consuming up to 2,000 fish in a single day.
Equipped with large flippers, they can swim at an impressive speed of six miles per hour, relentlessly pursuing lanternfish and squid in the icy waters. These resilient birds sometimes venture to staggering depths of over 1,180 feet in search of their elusive prey.
