Mohammed Bin Rashid Aerospace Hub and Satys to Construct Art Paint Hangar

The Mohammed Bin Rashid Aerospace Hub (MBRAH), Dubai’s dedicated aerospace platform, has entered into a strategic agreement with Satys, a renowned French group specializing in aircraft sealing and painting.
Together, they will construct a cutting-edge paint hangar at MBRAH in Dubai South.
A Facility for Diverse Markets:
The new facility, set to include a second paint booth, will cater to both business aviation markets (including names like Dassault Falcon, Bombardier, Gulfstream, and Embraer) and single-aisle commercial aviation markets (with a focus on Airbus A320 and Boeing 737 families).
With an annual capacity of approximately 20 aircraft, this state-of-the-art hangar is the region’s exclusive facility and is scheduled to become operational in January 2025.
Expanding Satys’ Global Reach:
Satys, a prominent player in the aviation industry, will now operate 39 aircraft paint bays across 13 countries in North America, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, further expanding its global presence.
Tahnoon Saif, CEO of MBRAH, expressed the strategic importance of the partnership with Satys, emphasizing its contribution to Dubai’s aviation ecosystem.
MBRAH aims to attract leading global entities, leveraging its integrated infrastructure to solidify Dubai’s position on the world aviation map.
Dubai South’s Support for Aeronautical Projects:
Christophe Cador, CEO of the Satys Group, highlighted the instrumental support provided by Dubai South in making this agreement possible.
The move aims to meet the increasing demand for repainting single-aisle and VIP aircraft in the Middle East while positioning Dubai as a center of excellence in aviation.
MBRAH’s Role in the Aerospace Landscape:
MBRAH, located within Dubai South, offers high-level connectivity to global aerospace players and serves as a free-zone destination for leading airlines, private jet companies, Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) providers, and related industries.
It also houses maintenance centers and training and education campuses, contributing to Dubai’s vision of becoming a leading aviation hub.
