Mark Zuckerberg Injures ACL While Training MMA, Delays Fight

Mark Zuckerberg recently tore his ACL while training in mixed martial arts (MMA), requiring surgical intervention. This injury has led to a delay in a competitive MMA fight scheduled for early next year.

Taking to Instagram, Mark Zuckerberg shared the news with his followers. He expressed gratitude for the medical team and surgeons who performed the surgery and conveyed his eagerness to return to MMA competition after a full recovery.

Many of his followers and well-wishers commented on the post, offering words of encouragement and a speedy recovery. They praised his determination and resilience in the face of this setback.

Zuckerberg’s MMA Journey:

Mark Zuckerberg began training in mixed martial arts and Brazilian jiu-jitsu during the COVID-19 pandemic. 

He participated in his first tournament in May 2023, demonstrating his commitment to the sport.

Cage Match Challenge with Elon Musk:

Previously, Elon Musk had challenged Mark Zuckerberg to a cage match, a challenge that Zuckerberg accepted. 

Both individuals were reported to be serious about the proposed fight, as confirmed by Dana White, the president of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).

Training and Practice Fights:

In preparation for the showdown, both Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk received training from boxers. 

Mark publicly declined Elon’s offer to hold a practice fight in his backyard on August 13, indicating their dedication to proper training and competition.
