Manuel Neuer fit to play again after a 10-months injury

Bayern Munich and Germany wall Manuel Neuer is set to be back to action this weekend, almost ten months after he suffered a broken leg.
Manuel Neuer, the 37-year-old veteran goalkeeper, is poised to make his return for Bayern Munich. He had been sidelined with an injury sustained while skiing in December 2022 but has now completed his recovery and returned to team training in late September.
Anticipated Return Against Darmstadt
Bayern Munich, the reigning champions, are scheduled to face Darmstadt in a Bundesliga match on Saturday.
Manager Thomas Tuchel expressed his optimism regarding Neuer’s return, stating that if everything goes as planned in training, the goalkeeper will be in action. Both the team and Neuer are eagerly anticipating this comeback.
Long Road to Recovery
Manuel Neuer last played for Bayern against his former club Schalke on November 12th the previous year.
His return to training was delayed due to complications in his recovery from a lower-leg fracture, but now, it appears that he is ready to make his highly-anticipated return to the pitch.
