Joyous Scenes as UAE’s Federal National Council Election Results Declared

The preliminary results of the UAE's FNC elections were announced in Abu Dhabi's Energy Centre, setting the atmosphere for joyous celebrations.

Abu Dhabi’s Energy Centre was the stage for joyous celebrations as the preliminary results of the UAE’s Federal National Council (FNC) elections were declared on Saturday night. 

Winning candidates who were present at the venue expressed their enthusiasm for serving the nation and making a positive impact on society.

Determined to Make a Difference:

One of the winning candidates, Mudhia Salem Al Menhali from Abu Dhabi, expressed excitement after securing 2,448 votes. 

Al Menhali emphasized her commitment to fulfilling her campaign promises and contributing to various areas such as culture, youth, health, women empowerment, education, and social affairs. Her primary focus is on enhancing Emiratisation in the private sector.

Sheikh Mohammed’s Congratulations:

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and PM of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, congratulated the nation for the successful election. 

He praised the winners and affirmed the unity of the state’s authorities, emphasizing their collaborative efforts to build a prosperous future for the people of the Union.

Record-Breaking Voter Turnout:

The 2023 FNC elections saw a significant increase in voter turnout, with a record-breaking 175,487 votes, compared to 117,592 ballots in 2019. 

This surge in participation reflects the nation’s active engagement in the democratic process.
