JetBlue Plane Tilts Backward after Landing at JFK Airport

A JetBlue plane caused a stir at New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport when it unexpectedly tilted backward with its nose pointed skyward after landing. 

The incident on Flight 662 arriving from Bridgetown, Barbados, was captured in videos shared on social media.

Dramatic Visuals Emerge:

Videos circulating on social media platforms depicted the JetBlue aircraft at the passenger gate, tilting backward at an angle of about 30 degrees, creating dramatic and attention-grabbing visuals.

JetBlue officials responded to the incident in a statement released on Monday. According to the statement, the unusual tilting of the jetliner was attributed to a “shift in weight and balance during deplaning.”

Passenger Safety Maintained:

Despite the dramatic appearance of the incident, JetBlue officials assured that the plane eventually leveled out, and no injuries to passengers were reported. The airline’s commitment to passenger safety remained paramount throughout the incident.

Aircraft Taken Out of Service:

In light of the unusual event, JetBlue announced that the aircraft involved in the incident had been taken out of service for a thorough inspection. This precautionary measure aims to ensure the aircraft’s continued safety and reliability.
