During a recent appearance on The Graham Norton Show, actor Jamie Dornan shared a comedic tale about a memorable encounter with a horse that took an unexpected turn. 

The actor, known for his roles in various films, including the Fifty Shades series, recounted a moment from a few years ago when he, despite being allergic, kissed a horse while filming for a movie.

Jamie Dornan’s Allergic Reaction to Horses:

Despite being allergic to horses, Dornan found himself in a peculiar situation while shooting a film where his character spent a considerable time on horseback. 

After forgetting about his allergy, he experienced an itchy sensation, and his entire face swelled up like a giant hive. 

The severity of the reaction even led to the need for EpiPens, jeopardizing his insurance for the movie. Dornan humorously said, “If you see me on a horse, I’m heavily medicated.”

Jamie Dornan’s Farewell Kiss to a Horse:

Despite the earlier allergic mishap, Dornan worked with horses again in the historical drama New Worlds. On the final day of filming, feeling a sense of camaraderie with the horse, he decided to give it a farewell kiss. 

However, the gesture took an unexpected turn as his lips swelled up, leading to laughter from the audience and highlighting the actor’s amusing horse-related misadventures.

The Irish actor, last seen in Netflix’s Heart of Stone alongside Gal Gadot and Alia Bhatt, is gearing up for his role in the upcoming Netflix series The Tourist, scheduled for release on February 1, 2024.
