India’s Himalaya Wellness breaks ground on herbal pharmaceutical factory in Dubai

The Dubai factory will have a yearly production capacity of 3 billion tablets, 15 million syrup bottles, and three million units of ointment, with strategies to serve global volumes till 2030.
Himalaya Wellness, a globally recognized pharmaceutical company, has embarked on the construction of an advanced herbal pharmaceutical factory in Dubai.
The project is made possible through financial support from Emirates Development Bank (EDB), a pivotal institution driving economic development and industrial progress in the UAE.
Strategic Location in Dubai Industrial City
The new facility, set to be situated in Dubai Industrial City, a prominent hub for manufacturing and logistics, represents a significant expansion of Himalaya Wellness’s footprint within TECOM Group PJSC’s Dubai ecosystem.
This venture not only signifies the commitment of Himalaya Wellness to advancing its pharmaceutical endeavors but also underscores the UAE’s vision for economic development and its investment in the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors.
The collaboration with Emirates Development Bank underlines the crucial role of financial institutions in supporting innovation and industrial growth in the region.
