In response to the ban on e-scooters on the Dubai Metro, commuters can now opt for the convenient ‘Bus on Demand’ service provided by Dubai’s Roads and Transportation Authority (RTA). This ride-pooling service offers residents a flexible and efficient way to navigate specific community areas in Dubai, serving as an ideal last-mile solution for commuters.

What is the Bus On-Demand Service?

Introduced in 2020, the Bus On-Demand service operates mini buses that can be summoned via a mobile app. This service enables commuters to communicate with drivers to identify the nearest pick-up and drop-off points within the covered areas. Step 2: Enter Personal Details

  • Provide necessary information such as name, email address, and mobile number.
  • Verify your identity using the one-time password (OTP) sent by RTA.
