Hospital Director Replaced as UAE Evaluates Service Centers

The hospital director in the UAE was replaced following the facility’s placement at the bottom of the list of worst service centers.
The Emirates Health Services director-general, responsible for Kalba Hospital, has been directed to oversee improvements in service quality at the facility over the next month.
Government Evaluation and Action:
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and PM of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, disclosed the federal government’s evaluation, highlighting the best and worst service centers.
The Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure service center in Ras Al Khaimah was also identified among the poorly performing entities, which are given a 60-day window to enhance their services.
Evaluation Scope and Recognition:
The comprehensive evaluation covered 124 centers as part of an annual assessment.
The top-rated centers awarded 6-star ratings included entities like the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs & Port Security, and the Ministry of Interior.

In emphasizing the importance of quality government services, Sheikh Mohammed believed that good government services are a fundamental right of the people.
