Emirati Racing Sensation Hamda Al Qubaisi Triumphs in F1 Academy Race

Hamda Al Qubaisi, a 21-year-old Emirati racing prodigy competing with MP Motorsport, achieved a remarkable victory in the F1 Academy’s race 2 held at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas, during the US Grand Prix weekend.

Hamda’s triumphant performance in the F1 Academy’s race 2 at an F1 race weekend was met with joy and celebration. She was elated, saying, “It’s an amazing feeling to win in an F1 race weekend.”

Mohammed ben Sulayem, President of the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA), congratulated Hamda on her remarkable win. 

He highlighted the significance of the F1 Academy in nurturing and honing the skills of young racers, molding them into future champions, with Hamda exemplifying the immense talent within the world of motorsport.

A Racing Journey of Success:

Hamda Al Qubaisi embarked on her racing journey in karting and soon gained recognition. 

In 2016, she made history by becoming the first Emirati racer to receive an invitation to the FIA-sponsored CIK-FIA Karting Academy Trophy. 

Her career flourished, with accomplishments such as a podium finish in the IAME X30 Championships and a transition to Italian F4 in 2019.

Breaking Barriers:

In 2021, Hamda Al Qubaisi achieved a significant milestone by becoming the first woman in the history of Italian F4 to secure a podium position. 

Her determination and success in the Italian Formula 4 Championship made her a rising star in the racing world.

Hamda’s journey included a strong showing in Formula 4 UAE, with multiple wins and podium finishes. She secured a notable fourth-place finish in the championship standings.

The F1 Academy:
