Emirati job seekers flock to inaugural industrialist career fair in Abu Dhabi

The event has drawn considerable interest, with many attendees seizing the chance to interview for available roles.

The Industrialist Career Fair offers a remarkable array of employment opportunities, with over 500 jobs up for grabs at 73 private and semi-government companies. 

This three-day event, scheduled to conclude on Thursday at the Abu Dhabi Energy Centre, is a showcase of job openings tailored specifically for Emirati job seekers.

This groundbreaking event represents a pioneering initiative as it is the first of its kind to spotlight job opportunities for Emiratis within the industrial and advanced technology sectors. 

Emirati job seekers are exploring roles that cater to their aspirations and qualifications, fostering career growth within the nation.

Enthusiastic Response

The enthusiastic response from the Emirati community is evident, with more than 1,000 visitors on the first day alone. 

Salama Al Awadhi, Director of the National In-Country Value Programme at the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT), expressed the ongoing surge in Emirati job seekers’ participation. 

The event’s success is a testament to the growing interest in these vital sectors and the commitment to nurturing the local talent pool.
