Emirates Extends Suspension of Flights to and from Israel

Due to the ongoing crisis in the region, Emirates airline has extended the suspension of all flights to and from Israel until November 14.

Emirates airline has extended the suspension of all its flights to and from Israel until November 14 due to the ongoing conflict in the region. 

The Dubai-based carrier suspended operations to and from Tel Aviv until October 20, with subsequent extensions.

Safety Measures and Monitoring:

Emirates is closely monitoring the situation in Israel and maintaining close contact with relevant authorities. The airline’s top priority is the safety of customers, crew, and stakeholders.

Passenger Information:

  • Affected Customers: Passengers impacted by the suspension are advised to contact their booking agents for alternatives, refunds, cancellations, or rebooking options.
  • Waived Charges: Change and cancellation charges will be waived for tickets issued on/before October 11, 2023, for travel until November 30, 2023.
  • Onward Connections: Travelers with onward connections to Tel Aviv on canceled Emirates flights will not be taken for travel at their point of origin until further notice.

Adjustments by Other Airlines:

  • Flydubai: Flydubai has reduced its daily return flights to and from Tel Aviv from four to two. The airline is closely monitoring the situation and adjusting schedules accordingly.
  • Etihad Airways: Abu Dhabi-based Etihad Airways confirmed that its daily flight to Israel operates as scheduled and continues to monitor the situation closely.

Emirates and other UAE-based airlines are taking precautionary steps to ensure the safety and well-being of passengers and staff amid the ongoing conflict in the region. Passengers must stay updated with the latest travel advisories and airline notifications.
