Dubai’s RTA advances road construction and lighting project

The project has Margham, Lehbab, Al Lisaili, and Hatta roads. It travels a total distance of 38 kilometers, concerning 19 kilometers of new roadwork and the addition of lighting poles along an extra 19 km of existing roads.

The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) of Dubai has shared encouraging updates on a significant infrastructure project. 

As it stands, 72 percent of the project has already been successfully completed, signifying substantial progress in the development of internal roads and street lighting in crucial areas.

Expansive Project Scope

This ambitious project encompasses various areas, including Margham, Lehbab, Al Lisaili, and Hatta. The collective span covers an impressive 38 kilometers, comprised of two essential components:

  1. New Roadwork: An impressive 19 kilometers of new road construction to enhance transportation infrastructure.
  2. Lighting Enhancement: The addition of lighting poles along an additional 19 kilometers of existing streets, improving visibility and safety.

The ongoing developments underscore Dubai’s commitment to advancing its transportation network and ensuring the well-being of its residents and visitors through improved infrastructure and lighting.
