Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, has unveiled an ambitious Dh208 billion strategy aimed at doubling the number of Emirati families in the emirate within a decade. This comprehensive plan is set to enhance housing standards, healthcare, and overall quality of life for citizens. The initiative, part of the Dubai Social Agenda 33, is not just a housing strategy but a holistic approach to improve living standards, identity, values, social cohesion, and the development of future skills for generations to come​​.

Expanding Population and Enhancing Quality of Life

With Dubai’s population surpassing 3.65 million, largely due to its appeal to expatriates, there is a focused effort to increase the Emirati population. This endeavor goes beyond numerical growth; it aims to provide the world’s best residential areas, thereby elevating Dubai’s status on a global scale. Sheikh Mohammed’s vision is to position Dubai among the top three cities worldwide for living standards and within the top ten for life expectancy​​​​.

Education, Healthcare, and Social Care Enhancements
