Dubai Tourism Set to Introduce ‘Couples Go Free’ Campaign in 2024

Dubai intends to build on the success of its 'Kids Go Free' campaign by launching a 'Couples Go Free' campaign in 2024.

Dubai plans to extend the success of its ‘Kids Go Free’ campaign by introducing a ‘Couples Go Free’ initiative in 2024. The previous drive offered freebies and discounts to children across hotels, dining, and entertainment venues, receiving high praise from tourists.

Issam Kazim, CEO of Dubai Corporation for Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM), highlighted the need to cater to couples after the success of the family-focused campaign. The aim is to offer deals and incentives for couples similar to those enjoyed by children in the previous program.

Focus on Destination Weddings:

Dubai aims to increase destination weddings in the emirate, targeting visitors from Asia, the Middle East, and Western countries.

Plans include hosting a Wedding Symposium in 2024 and partnering with stakeholders to promote Dubai as an attractive wedding destination.

Embracing Group Visitors and Affordability:

Kazim emphasized the rise of group visitors and positioned Dubai as a value-for-money destination, striving to alter the perception of Dubai as an expensive city. The focus is on affordability and creating a compelling proposition for travelers.

Strategic Tourism Development:

Helal Saeed Al Marri, director-general of the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism, emphasized avoiding pricing pitfalls.

He urged industry players to seize opportunities with stopover travelers and various leisure and business events, ensuring Dubai’s appeal remains competitive and attractive.
