Dubai Police Achieves Remarkable Emergency Response Time

Dubai Police attained an amazing average emergency response time of 2 minutes and 24 seconds in the third quarter of this year.

In the third quarter of this year, Dubai Police achieved an outstanding average emergency response time of 2 minutes and 24 seconds. This achievement marks a significant milestone in their commitment to public safety.

Acknowledgment of Dedicated Personnel:

Major General Pilot Ahmad Muhammad bin Thani, Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Ports Affairs at Dubai Police, praised the remarkable dedication and efforts of the officers, non-commissioned officers, and individuals within the Command and Control Centre and Patrols Division. 

Their contributions have been instrumental in upholding security and achieving this impressive response time target.

Effective Handling of Emergency Calls:

The control center was pivotal in this achievement by handling a staggering 2,237,016 calls on the emergency number 999. 

Remarkably, 98.4 percent of these calls were answered within a mere 10 seconds, underlining the efficiency of the response system.

Quarterly Performance Evaluation Meeting:

These notable achievements were discussed in a performance evaluation meeting for the General Department of Operations during the third quarter.

These meetings are a part of Dubai Police’s comprehensive approach to assessing the performance of general departments quarterly.

Key Attendees and Agenda:

The meeting was attended by high-ranking officials, including Major General Abdullah Ali Al Ghaithi, Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Operations Affairs, Major General Dr. Mohammed Nasser Abdul Razzaq Al Razouki, Director of the General Department of Operations, and his deputy Brigadier Turki bin Fares. 

Brigadier Khaled Saeed bin Sulaiman, Deputy Director of the Regulatory Office, and Colonel Engineer Abdullah Al-Mulla, Deputy Director of the General Department for Communications and Technology Affairs, were also present, along with several directors of general departments and police stations.

Review, Recommendations, and Performance Comparison:

During the meeting, various topics were discussed, including the agenda for the upcoming quarter, the implementation of recommendations and decisions stemming from the second-quarter review, and a comparative analysis of performance indicators between the third quarter of this year and the same period in the previous year. 

This comprehensive review and planning process underscore Dubai Police’s commitment to continual improvement and public safety.
