Dubai-Based Airlines Reduce Flights to Tel Aviv Amid Escalating Conflict

Due to the increasing war, Emirates has cut daily flights to and from Tel Aviv's Ben Gurion International Airport.

Dubai-based Emirates has announced reduced daily flights to and from Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion International Airport due to the escalating conflict between Israel and Palestine. 

Starting from October 13 and lasting until October 31, 2023, Emirates will cut its flights to one daily operation, specifically EK933/934.

 Monitoring the Situation Closely:

Emirates stated that it is closely monitoring the situation in Israel and maintaining close contact with relevant authorities. The airline is continuously reviewing the evolving circumstances.

Emirates has advised affected travelers to contact their booking agents for alternative flight itineraries or refunds. 

Additionally, change and cancellation charges will be waived for tickets issued on or before October 11, 2023, for travel until November 30, 2023.

Flydubai’s Reduced Schedule:

Flydubai, which typically operates four return flights daily, is also adjusting its daily services to and from Tel Aviv. 

From October 13 to October 31, 2023, flydubai will consolidate its flight schedule, operating two daily flights, FZ 1549/1550 and FZ 1209/1210.

Flydubai closely monitors the situation and maintains communication with relevant authorities regarding the developing situation.

Passengers’ Rebooking Options:

Passengers impacted by these changes are encouraged to contact the flydubai contact center in Dubai at (+971) 600 54 44 45 or the flydubai travel shop. 

They can also contact their travel agent to explore rebooking or refund options.
