Under the theme “Investing in the Transition Era,” the second edition of Abu Dhabi Finance Week (ADFW 2023) was inaugurated by Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council.
From November 27th to 30th, the event is presented by Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) in collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development (ADDED).

Sheikh Khaled engaged with senior executives and policymakers from the global finance industry, attending ADFW 2023.
Discussions centered around the opportunities and challenges posed by economic, technological, and sustainability-related transitions influencing the global economic landscape.

Highlighting the significance of ADFW, Sheikh Khaled underscored Abu Dhabi’s role as a leading investment hub and a major player in the global financial landscape.
The emirate’s growth as a knowledge-based, sustainable economy, with a strategic focus on key sectors, has been achieved through various strategic initiatives to create an attractive investment environment.

Accompanied by key officials including Dr Ahmed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Mohammed Ali Al Shorafa, Ahmed Jasim Al Zaabi, Mansoor Ibrahim Al Mansoori, Ahmed Tamim Hisham Al Kuttab, and Saif Saeed Ghobash, Sheikh Khaled’s presence at the event emphasizes the collaborative efforts of various entities in shaping Abu Dhabi’s financial future.
ADFW 2023 is anticipated to host over 3,500 global and regional companies, attracting more than 10,000 financial leaders from over 100 countries.
The event aims to showcase the Falcon Economy, symbolizing the UAE’s growth as a global economic leader and Abu Dhabi’s pivotal role as an international finance center.
