Modified Peak Hours for Gate Crossings and Public Parking Fees Announced

The Integrated Transport Centre (ITC) of the Department of Municipalities and Transport in Abu Dhabi has announced modifications to the peak timings for the Darb traffic toll system during Ramadan 2024. Effective Monday to Saturday, the toll fees will be applicable from 8am to 10am and from 2pm to 4pm. However, there will be no toll fee charged for crossing the gate on Sundays.

Additionally, public parking services in Abu Dhabi will maintain their regular timings throughout Ramadan. Public parking fees will be applicable from Monday to Saturday, between 8am and 12am (midnight), while parking will be free on Sundays.

In terms of public bus services, the ITC has ensured uninterrupted operations during Ramadan. In the city of Abu Dhabi and its suburbs, buses will be available from 6am until 12am (midnight) every day of the week. Similarly, bus services that operate round the clock will continue to function as usual.

For residents in Al Ain and its suburbs, public buses will operate from 6am until 12am during Ramadan, with minor adjustments in the frequency of certain services within the city. Meanwhile, public bus services in the Al Dhafra region will run according to normal operating hours, with slight modifications such as pausing service during iftar.

The Abu Dhabi Express service will operate from 6am to 11pm on weekdays and from 6am to 1am on weekends.

These adjustments aim to accommodate the needs of residents and commuters during the holy month of Ramadan, ensuring efficient transportation services while respecting the observance of religious practices.
