Butterfly Gardens Abu Dhabi, an innovative project at the picturesque Al Qana waterfront resort, is set to become a nature lover's paradise.

Butterfly Gardens Abu Dhabi, an innovative project at the scenic Al Qana waterfront destination, is poised to become a haven for nature lovers. 

Home to over 2,000 butterflies spanning more than 40 species, this unique facility is set to open its doors next year, offering a mesmerizing blend of flora and fauna.

Unveiling Nature’s Wonders:

Positioned adjacent to the National Aquarium, Butterfly Gardens Abu Dhabi will allow guests to witness butterflies and various insect species in their natural habitat. 

An exceptional feature is the opportunity to track the live development of pupa, providing an engaging and educational experience. 

The enchanting starlight night setting adds an extra layer of magic to this first-of-its-kind facility in the capital.

Manicured Zones and Unique Offerings:

The climate-controlled indoor project will be divided into three distinct zones: Asia, the Americas, and Eden Cafe. 

Each zone will feature lush tropical gardens inspired by the unique ecosystems of Asia, Central, and South America. 

Alongside a breathtaking array of butterfly and insect species, the Eden Cafe will boast a cascading waterfall, a serene koi pond, and the presence of white peacocks. 

Guests will have the extraordinary opportunity to enjoy high tea surrounded by fluttering butterflies.

Educational and Interactive Design:

Butterfly Gardens Abu Dhabi aims to engage visitors of all ages in learning about butterflies, insect species, and crucial pollinators like bees. 

Notable highlights include the dwarf honeybee, and plans to open the gardens for school field trips. 

Additionally, the facility aims to introduce photography classes, enhancing the educational and interactive aspects of the experience.

Construction and Opening Details:

Scheduled to commence construction in early 2024, the Butterfly Gardens is expected to open its doors the same year, welcoming visitors daily from 10 am to 10 pm. 

This transformative project is poised to offer a unique and immersive exploration of nature’s wonders against the picturesque backdrop of Al Qana’s waterfront.
