Actor Vinayakan Arrested and Released on Bail; Read Why

Well-known Malayali actor Vinayakan found himself in a legal tangle as he was arrested on Tuesday for making a disturbance while under the influence of alcohol at the Ernakulam North police station.

After the arrest, Vinayakan was released on bail, as confirmed by officers at the Ernakulam North police station. A case was filed against him for causing a ruckus and using offensive language towards the police.

Details of the Incident:

The incident unfolded when the actor was reportedly inebriated. A case was registered after an altercation with a police officer, which led to disrupting operations at the police station. 

The actor had initially called the police to his residence to resolve a family dispute, but the situation took an unexpected turn.

Incident Escalates at Police Station:

Upon reaching the North Police Station around 7 p.m., Vinayakan was fined for smoking in the police station yard. However, upon entering the station, the situation escalated, resulting in a disturbance.

Misbehavior Under the Influence:

Despite being escorted for a medical examination, the actor’s behavior remained disruptive and disrespectful toward the police officers. Evidently, he was under the influence of alcohol at the time.

The case was filed under the bailable sections of the Kerala Police Act, and Vinayakan was eventually released on bail at 10.30 p.m.
